As the holiday season approaches, we are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Christmas Installation Assistants.

 

Job Overview

The Christmas Installation Assistant will support the installation team in setting up festive decorations at various client locations. This role involves hands-on work, including assembling and installing decorations, ensuring displays are secure and visually appealing, and assisting with the breakdown and storage of decorations after the holiday season.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Installation of Decorations:

  - Assist with the installation of Christmas decorations, including wreaths, garlands, trees, lights, and other festive elements.

  - Follow design plans and instructions to ensure decorations are installed accurately and attractively.

  - Use ladders, lifts, and other equipment safely to install decorations at various heights.

 

Preparation and Assembly:

  - Prepare and assemble decorations prior to installation, ensuring all items are in excellent condition.

  - Load and unload decorations and equipment from vehicles, ensuring safe transport.

  - Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure all necessary items are ready for installation.

 

Maintenance and Quality Control:

  - Conduct on-site quality checks to ensure all decorations meet company standards and client expectations.

  - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.

 

Breakdown and Storage:

  - Assist with the removal and packing of decorations after the holiday season.

  - Ensure decorations are stored properly to prevent damage and facilitate future use.

  - Maintain an organised workspace and adhere to safety protocols.

 

Customer Interaction:

  - Interact professionally with clients and address any concerns or special requests.

  - Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in installation, event setup, or related fields is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move items.

- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders and lifts.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak season, including evenings and weekends.
