As the holiday season approaches, we are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Christmas Refurb Assistants.

 

Job Overview

The Christmas Refurb Assistant will play a crucial role in preparing and organising our Christmas warehouse, dressing wreaths and garlands, and ensuring all items are prepped and ready for installation. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and has a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

 

Warehouse Organisation:

  - Assist in organising the Christmas warehouse to ensure an efficient and safe working environment.

  - Manage inventory by labelling and storing items correctly.

  - Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.

  

Dressing Wreaths and Garlands:

  - Dress wreaths, garlands, and other decorative items according to design specifications.

  - Ensure all decorations are securely attached and visually appealing.

  - Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail in all tasks.

 

Prepping Items for Installation:

  - Prepare and pack items for delivery and installation at client sites.

  - Ensure all items are in excellent condition and meet client expectations.

  - Collaborate with the installation team to coordinate schedules and logistics.

 

General Duties:

  - Assist with the setup and breakdown of seasonal displays.

  - Maintain a clean and organised workspace.

  - Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

  - Perform other related duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Team Leader.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred.

- Artistic ability and a good eye for detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move items.

- Positive attitude and willingness to take on various tasks.

- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak season, including evenings and weekends.
